OTZ Good NEWS September 2011

The OTZ Team Teaches in France – Paris, France 2011

On September 9, 2011 the OTZ Technique team led by its founder, Dr. Francis Murphy DC along with Dr. Louis D’Amico DC and Dr. Michael Hall DC, DCAN traveled to Paris France and taught 35 chiropractors the OTZ Technique. The majority were French chiropractors and we had a few chiropractors come from Canada and one from Germany.  The seminar was held at the IFEC, i.e., Institute Franco-European de Chiropractique in Paris and was arranged by the president of the AFC, i.e., Association Francaise de Chiropractic, Dr. Phillipe Fleuriau.  As fate would have it one of the attendees suffered from a frozen shoulder for over a year and his condition was quickly reduced in front of everyone by Dr. Murphy.  This particular chiropractor shared with me at the end of the seminar that most of the other attendees asked him how much we paid him to perform in front of them! They were all very amazed at the quick results.  After that performance another attendee asked to bring his mother in on Sunday morning.  She had been suffering from a frozen shoulder for over a year as well with very little results.  She also noticed a decreased ability to smell since acquiring her frozen shoulder.  Dr. Murphy adjusted her using the OTZ technique and her arm came up.  She was also able to smell his coffee and commented that it wasn’t very good coffee as well! Their videos and photographs will be posted on our website at www.otzhealthed.com .

The OTZ team was very excited to present this technique to its first European venue and thanks Dr. Fleuriau for all his help in arranging the event.  Our feedback from the group was very positive and they were excited to go back to their practices and begin to use this technique on their patients.  They also invited us back to France in the spring of 2012 to put on another seminar at the IFEC sister college in Toulouse, France. Wow, spring in southern France…we can hardly wait!

This European momentum is beginning to build as the OTZ team has recently received requests to do the OTZ Technique seminar in Italy, Spain, and the United Kingdom.  We are beginning to explore the groundwork and logistics of putting on the seminars in Europe in 2012.  Keep monitoring our website for details on these European venues.

OTZ Good NEWS July 2011

OTZ Seminar for Frozen Shoulder Syndrome – Dallas, TX 2011

Even with the record breaking heat of 2011 bearing down on the Dallas area, OTZ enjoyed its largest seminar to date.  The class included doctors from Canada, California, West Virginia, Louisiana, Minnesota, Texas, and Pennsylvania.  In addition to the attending doctors, OTZ offered 10 Parker University students from the top of their class the ability to observe and learn about the OTZ Technique.  As with every seminar, we work to have a couple of actual frozen shoulder patients to be part of our live demonstration.  This seminar presented us with the very unique story of Mr. Anders that I am sure not only provided a great insight as to the possibilities of the OTZ Technique but touched the hearts of everyone in attendance as well.  Mr. Anders had been diagnosed with colon cancer in 2008, he awoke from surgery with intense pain and loss of range of motion.  He had been to countless doctors and physical therapy session which had provided him some range of motion but not enough as he ultimately had to give up his career.  Mr. Anders was a professional camera man who had worked on such shows as “Walker Texas Ranger” and “Prison Break”.  I can only imagine the difficulty of trying to operate a camera while suffering from FSS.  He added to his story by saying that in nearly 3 years, he suffered from sleepless nights and had finally resigned to the fact that this was the way his life was intended to be.  It was simply by chance that Mr. Anders found us as a friend of his who had heard Dr. Murphy speak at a recent Parker University event insisted that he come see us.

With his wife crying the audience, Mr. Anders was given back a part of his life that had been missing for quite some time.  We are pleased to let everyone know he is doing great, full range of motion and nearly zero pain.  He states today that he feels his pain is more of a workout type of soreness and associates that with muscle function that has been lacking for the past 3 years.

OTZ GOOD NEWS June 2011

American Black Chiropractic Association – Dallas, TX 2011

Dr. Francis Murphy was honored by the ABCA for speaking at their annual convention held in Dallas, TX.  Dr. Murphy worked with the small group to help them understand the powerful capabilities of the OTZ Technique.  The members of the ABCA were astounded by the video results shown for the OTZ Technique and each took part in Dr. Murphy working with them in a hands on setting to better understand the OTZ method of treatment.  Within the crowd were 2 doctors who although did not suffer from frozen shoulder syndrome, had lacked a certain amount of rand of motion.  Dr. Murphy performed the OTZ adjustment on each of them resulting in an increase freedom of movement along with a reduction in pain.

OTZ GOOD NEWS APRIL 2011

FICS & WFC CONGRESS – RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL 2011

OTZ HEALTH EDUCATION SYSTEMS sent the whole team to Rio to share everything OTZ has to offer as Brazil is building up to a top world economy with the focus on sports as they are hosting the world for 2014 FIFA Soccer World Cup and the 2016 Summer Olympics. OTZ’s Executive VP, Dr. Louis D’Amico presented our scientific paper, its findings and the abstract selected by WFC for the poster presentation category to all attending. This original paper reviewed the positive results in retrospective of the OTZ adjustment and Frozen Shoulder Syndrome. The full article is written by Dr. Anne Jensen and Dr. Mike Hall and marks the first step to scientifically communicate what has been happening in Dallas at Whole Health Partners since 2006, where Dr. Francis Murphy first realized the FSS new paradigm using classic chiropractic discoveries. Blame it on Rio, as Dr. Fran presented 3 stellar sessions to over 200 DCs and students and along with his Portuguese-speaking translators, gave the audience the true-life account of patient number one, Ms. Pam Hatcher, followed by 4 real cases, which were resolved in front of everyone to see. Even more, they enjoyed a session of adjusting techniques as taught by Dr. Fran, Casey Spangler, Dr. Louie D’Amico, Dr. Joe Pelino and recently certified provider Dr. Nelson Santos, your OTZ team.

OTZ GOOD NEWS MARCH 2011

ICA/The Arnold Sports Festival – Columbus, Ohio 2011

OTZ Health Education Systems is pleased to provide the following press release reporting an outstanding response received for DR

FRANCIS X MURPHY’S keynote address this past March in Columbus, Ohio at the 2011 Symposium on Natural Fitness and Sports held in collaboration with ICA’s Council on Fitness and Sports Health Science and Parker Seminars. The dynamic, activity-packed, multiple-event weekend was held in conjunction with the annual Arnold Fitness Festival March 3rd to 6th which provided the opportunity to access an exciting combination of distinctive educational programs, world-class athletic competitions, and international-level sports demonstrations. For the CHIROPRACTORS, the Symposium offered ICA Continuing Education sessions, opportunities to meet champion athletes and a personal appearance of Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger! Because the event provided doctors with innovative content relevant to the changing needs in our healthcare, the highlighted address by Dr. Murphy’s gave proof positive that our profession is on the right track with an appetite eager for knowledge for which his presentation delivered. Dr. Murphy enlightened the audience with the specific neurological understanding of his new paradigm for frozen shoulder syndrome, a paradigm that is finally and for the first time in front of all chiropractors to follow. Dr. Murphy presented the worse case scenario of the pitfalls of postural injuries to the skull, which in 2006 he discovered is what brings about the neurological basis for frozen shoulder syndrome. This doctors’ only audience marked the first time in which the One To Zero Technique, OTZ Method was presented which radically shifted the paradigm for these fellow chiropractors from around North and South America and within the ICA community. Sharing multiple video case studies from his Dallas, Texas Whole Health Partners Clinic of before and after treatment results showing gains of full and pain free range of motion to the shoulder of everyday cases, without touching the shoulder itself. OTZ is founded on classic chiropractic principles using classic doctrine to treat the source. Dr. Murphy addressed open forum questions including alternative paradigms of manipulation under anesthesia and soft tissue treatment directly to the shoulder. And finally and likely most revealing was his discussion of the seemingly high relevance that OTZ Treatment Method considers to other conditions related and similarly enigmatic conditions to the brain stem. As such the attendance for the second half of Dr. Murphy’s address grew in number with closing remarks by Parker College VP, Dr. Gilles Lamarche, who indicated this to be the first time when a keynote speaker drew an increase in audience.

OTZ GOOD NEWS JANUARY 2011

PARKER SEMINARS – LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

OTZ HEALTH EDUCATION SYSTEMS launched its first ever public display to release the new paradigm in search of the true cause of Frozen Shoulder Syndrome FSS. The OTZ booth was the entire Parker events’ only hands on technique which featured classic chiropractic adjusting methods. Comments included that impulse adjusting to the specific cause of disease is alive and well and is in the hands of Dallas Chiropractor and OTZ Founder, Dr. Francis Murphy DC who became licensed in Nevada in order to perform over 100 adjustments to fellow chiros and their friends, including 3 frozen shoulder cases and 1 brigadier general who finally was able to sleep after her head found its proper place. Way to go Francis! The power of Parker Seminars became self evident with endorsements from President Fabrizio Mancini DC, Parker VP Gilles Lamarche DC, World Federation President Mike Flynn DC, ICA President Gary Walseman DC and Parker University Neurology Professor Dr. Mike Hall, all leaders of chiropractic education.

“My first adjustment was by BJ Palmer when my dad attended Palmer in the 50’s.  I am fortunate to have learned from many masters in manual care-my dad, Henri Gillet, L. John Faye.  This past year I was examined and adjusted by Francis Murphy DC in Italy.  His skills and mastery of manual chiropractic methods is among the best I have personally experienced.  When we are in the same city, he is my chiropractor.”

OTZ GOOD NEWS FEBRUARY 2011

OTZ WORKSHOP FOR FROZEN SHOULDER SYNDROME – DALLAS, TEXAS

“Classic chiropractic techniques for modern diseases”

This workshop began sharp at 9am Saturday morning with 20 doctors and 4 very real and very painful frozen shoulder cases. It was amazing to see the calm and reverent manner in which Dr. Murphy treated these real time patients in front of our very eyes. A keynote address was given by neurology professor, Dr. Mike Hall, whose insights into the workings of the brain with direct relations to the adjustment provoked the group sentiment….”its about time that someone figured this all out”…so with Fran’s discovery and Mike’s detailed rationale we are in the finest position to effect and to understand what is happening when all these sufferers immediately have there arms go up while their pain drops.

In attendance was Canadian National Rowing team veteran Dr. Michael Murray and newly graduated Buffalo NY Chiropractor, Dr. JJ Phipps who sent this letter to Fran, which says it all.

Dr. Murphy,

I just wanted to say thank you for putting on such a great seminar.  This past weekend will be a weekend that I never forget.  It totally changed my life and the way I view Chiropractic.  When I signed up for the seminar, I thought I was just going to learn about frozen shoulder but it was so much more than that.  It changed my whole philosophy on Chiropractic and life. Watching how you, Louie, Casey, Joe, JD, Doug, Al, and everyone else who was at dinner, interact and your passion for Chiropractic is something that I wish I could experience every weekend.  You guys probably think nothing of it but for me it just blew me away.  I wish I had brought a tape recorder with me because every time one of you guys opened your mouth it was something worth remembering.   At New York Chiropractic College no one had passion like you guys.  No one seems excited about Chiropractic, at times I felt like I was in medical school.  Now I can truly say I am excited about Chiropractic, I’m proud to be a Chiropractor, and I can’t wait until I hit my first G-note on the occiput and the vault. Your seminar was worth every penny and I got more than I could have ever asked for.  If someone watches what you do 1st hand, for example at the Parker Seminar but walks away because it cost too much money has to be crazy and not truly care about getting people better. And it’s probably a good thing because you don’t want people like that representing your technique.  So thanks again for everything including dinner Saturday night.  I am already looking forward to my next trip to Dallas.  You guys are remarkable people and I am so happy I got the opportunity to meet you and learn from you.

Thanks,

JJ Phipps

Patients and doctors both benefit from knowledge gained learning to relieve Frozen Shoulder Syndrome without surgery or prescription drugs.

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) March 30, 2010

One-To-Zero (OTZ) Health Education Systems (www.otzhealthed.com) today announced its “Sponsor Your Doctor” program. The program represents one of the ways OTZ is helping broaden access to its treatment and successful patient outcomes. Through the program, Frozen Shoulder Syndrome and other shoulder impingement sufferers can sponsor their chiropractors to attend a three-day OTZ Diagnosis and Treatment Seminar in Dallas, Texas while they receive treatment for their shoulder problem.

The program is the result of two factors. First, OTZ has received an overwhelming response to the OTZ doctor training classes presented in 2009. Second, since 2007 Frozen Shoulder sufferers have become increasingly familiar with the OTZ treatment and are helping drive awareness among their chiropractors across the United States and other countries. As a result of the program, a growing number of doctors are beginning to recognize the significant number of people who may suffer from Frozen Shoulder Syndrome in their own communities in this country and elsewhere around the world.

Statistic show that 3-4% of the population between the ages of 40 and 70 years suffer from this debilitating shoulder condition, with women representing a small majority. For example, in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex it is estimated that up to 90,000 individuals are currently suffering from Frozen Shoulder Syndrome or related shoulder impingement issues. Therefore, the demand for doctors who can effectively treat this condition is significant across the country and is expected to continue to grow as Baby Boomers age.

Patients who sponsor their doctors into the OTZ training seminar have two options to receive treatment. They can travel with their doctors to Dallas, Texas and be treated during the seminar or receive treatment in their own communities after their doctors complete the seminar. This flexibility was designed into the program to accommodate as many patients and their chiropractors as possible. According to OTZ Founder Dr. Francis X. Murphy, “The OTZ ‘Sponsor Your Doctor’ program helps broaden the availability of the treatment to many more doctors and patients across the country. Our goal is to empower doctors with the OTZ treatment method so they can help the Frozen Shoulder Syndrome patients in their cities and towns.”

The OTZ training curriculum is sponsored by Parker College of Chiropractic for 12 hours of state Continuing Education (CE) credit. The three-day seminars begin Friday afternoon, end at noon Sunday, and are held in a college amphitheater classroom at Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, Texas. Details about the OTZ “Sponsor Your Doctor” program are available at http://www.otzhealthed.com/patients. Seminar information for doctors is available at http://www.otzhealthed.com/attend-ce-class. Study designed to further organization’s research into the nature and cause of Frozen Shoulder Syndrome and other neurological disorders

Dallas, TX (PRWEB) November 11, 2009

One-To-Zero (OTZ) Health Education Systems (www.otzhealthed.com) announced today that it is enrolling qualified patients in a new Frozen Shoulder Syndrome diagnosis and treatment study. The study is designed to further the organization’s research into the nature and cause of Frozen Shoulder Syndrome and other neurological disorders. As part of the study, OTZ treats clinical cases of Frozen Shoulder Syndrome patients enrolled in the OTZ research program at no cost. Treatments are performed and video taped at the Dallas, Texas OTZ professional continuing education class attended by doctors.

In its third year, the ongoing OTZ study is based on a new, non-surgical approach to diagnosing and treating Frozen Shoulder Syndrome. OTZ founder Dr. Francis X. Murphy discovered that the painful and debilitating condition is caused by what is known as the Hatcher-Murphy Disorder (HMD), which is most likely to be present in persons aged 40-70. With baby boomers comprising a significant portion of the U.S. and world populations, statistically up to six million people in the U.S. may be suffering with Frozen Shoulder Syndrome today. In an effort to further its research and broaden the availability of its treatment, the OTZ study enables a limited number of Frozen Shoulder Syndrome sufferers to receive the non-surgical OTZ diagnosis and treatment method at no cost.

The OTZ method has shed new light on the cause of Frozen Shoulder Syndrome, a cause which is not addressed by other common treatment methods such as surgery and physical therapy. Since 2007 hundreds of patients have been relieved of their Frozen Shoulder Syndrome with the OTZ treatment method, and as a result patients and doctors are taking advantage of programs and training opportunities that before did not exist. “My staff and I treat patients from all over the United States as well as many other countries,” notes Dr. Murphy. “We’re proud of the hundreds of patients we’ve helped and the doctors we’ve trained so far. With this study we’ll be able to add to the research and help more patients find relief, and that’s what it’s all about.”

Frozen Shoulder Syndrome information and online patient outcome videos are available at http://www.otzhealthed.com and on YouTube at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5KSd-B9hulo. On August 8 and 9, 2009, doctors from across the country will attend the inaugural Frozen Shoulder Syndrome Diagnosis and Treatment™ seminar in Dallas, Texas. The curriculum, developed by OTZ Health Education Systems™ (OTZ™), is based on two years of research and hundreds of successful patient outcomes. The curriculum and training is accredited for the maximum 12 hours of post-graduate continuing education (CE) credit, and attendees must successfully demonstrate full competency to receive OTZ certification.

In 2007, Dallas chiropractor Dr. Francis X. Murphy put into practice a unique form of analysis and correction targeted at the condition known as Frozen Shoulder Syndrome (FSS). Since then, hundreds of patients with FSS have sought out Dr. Murphy for this treatment and have had their FSS successfully resolved. After two years of observation, study, and the assistance of many health care institutions and patients, a new understanding of the nature and causes of FSS has emerged and has been developed in the OTZ curriculum. FSS has been linked to certain neurological disorders with which the OTZ diagnosis and treatment approach has also shown tremendous promise as well as generated new questions.

The most basic element of the OTZ training is the live demonstration of compelling analysis and treatment on medically diagnosed Frozen Shoulder patients during the seminar. Clinical studies are recorded on digital video and will be made available to enrolled health professionals in early September at http://www.OTZHealthEd.com. The site will offer a Certified OTZ Provider Directory that FSS patients can use to locate a doctor who can effectively treat FSS using the OTZ method. Doctor attendees will also use the site to access the online multimedia Continuing Education Center, where they will have 24/7 access to all OTZ curriculum, including videos, audio podcasts, documents, and new research.

All treatment expenses are being waived for FSS patients who meet the medical requirement and are willing to share the treatment process with doctors attending the OTZ seminar. Sufferers of Frozen Shoulder Syndrome can call (214) 368-3030 to see if they qualify to receive free treatment at an upcoming OTZ seminar. A limited number of cases are treated each month, and treatment requires patients to be in Dallas, Texas for a period of one week.
